YMC has combined its membership with Yale Outdoors to better serve the entire outdoor community at Yale. Membership costs $10 for the entire year and allows you to participate in all activities.

Members of the Yale community (students, faculty, staff, alumni, and anyone affiliated with the above) are welcome on the YMC panlist and are encouraged to attend Club Nights to learn how to climb and to meet fellow climbers. Neither the panlist nor Club Nights require membership.

A membership is required to rent club equipment or to go on official club trips. You can purchase a membership when you rent gear or join a trip for the first time. You will be issued a membership sticker for your ID that you need to present in order to rent gear. In addition, presenting the sticker at local outdoor stores will allow you to purchase items at a discount.
